ENEC supports internship with academia and the program can be reached upon request. In 2024, we have connected with National Taichung University of Education to provide supervision to graduate students who studying on the topics related to Perfluorooctanesulfonic acid ( PFOS). The themes included “the sources identification for existence of PFOS in sediment” and “the human health risk assessment from food chains of the aquatic product with PFOS. The journey of the internships has generated significant blast through the brainstorming of theoretical and practical aspects. The outcomes have been fruitful and also accepted by the IC3E international conference for presentation.

Dr. Chih Huang, the Management Director of ENEC, was elected as the Director of Taiwan Greenhouse Gases Management Association. Ministry of Environment of Taiwan has been advocated ETV for several years and an International Conference on the Collaborative Verification to Soil and Groundwater Protection Technology for Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program was held for advancing the collaboration among Asian countries. ENEC was honored to present the strategic actions for international collaborative verification as a recommendation to the delegates from Japan and Philippines as well as from Ministry of Environment of Taiwan. It is hope that the pathways for further joint- or co- verification can be advanced further.
